OUR STORY

100 year old working farm

We are a small, family owned, working farm located in Clover, South Carolina (approximately 30 minutes from the out skirts of southwestern Charlotte, NC).  We have been working for over 25 years to preserve and restore our one-hundred year-old farm, land, and house. It has been our privilege to live, work, and play on this beautiful land raising our family and all our animals.

ABOUT CURTIN FARMS

We have always raised beef cattle on the farm, but in 2014 we began Farm Agritourism by opening up Curtin Farms to the public and providing educational Harvest Farm Tours to area schools.  After an overwhelming response to our Harvest Farm Tours and numerous and repeated requests from visitors, family and friends, we decided to host our first annual Curtin Farms Fest in 2015. Curtin Farms Fest is a community gathering for those who appreciate quality, hand-crafted, and unique treasures and for those who have an interest in experiencing a relaxing, family-friendly day surrounded by rolling pastures with the sights and sounds of our 100-year-old working farm.

Here at Curtin Farms, our motto is “Perserving Yesterday, Cultivating Tomorrow."  It is our hope that when you visit us, you will leave with a new appreciation of Curtin Farms’ history, beauty and a greater knowledge of farming and all its animals.

Our Goal

At Curtin Farms, our agri-tourism is focused on educating children, families, and the community about farming and how this proud tradition contributes to our current and future way of life.
